# What kind of proof does Pronotif provide?

When notifying an electronic document via **Certified Email**, **Pronotif** automatically generates a **Proof Report** containing a detailed audit trail of the transmission.

The report serves as evidence of transmission by clearly establishing, through timestamping and email server confirmation, the precise moment your recipient received your email, opened it, and downloaded the content.

If you are a legal user, the report also contains all the information required by civil procedure rules in North America, where notification is permitted.
